Frequently Asked Questions
Starting September 22, Christ Church will pair a 6-week sermon series with weekly discussions in small groups. So what you hear on Sunday, you get to live out during the week because of this additional experience. Sign-up by Sept 21.
Having “righteous anger” is just a myth. While we all will get angry at times—after all, we are human—the Bible tells us we are not to hold onto it. In fact, Christians are supposed to forfeit their right to be offended—and give up their right to be angry. And as it turns out, when we do this we will find it to be one of the most freeing, healthy, simplifying, relaxing, refreshing, stress-relieving, encouraging things that we can do.
The sermon series and small groups begin September 22.
In 60- 90 minute sessions over six weeks, you will meet new people, get a chance to clarify how the topic and scriptures are impacting you, and hear how they are impacting others. Bible knowledge is not required, though it is sure to increase. More importantly, you learn how to put scripture into action.

Christ Church defines a disciple as learning to love like Jesus every day where we live, work and play. The intentionality that comes with the routine and the gentle accountability that comes from knowing we are all rowing our oars in the same direction every week, drives transformation in a person. Small groups are where we go from learning about Jesus to loving like Jesus.
If you are part of a small group, your group leader or host can give you access to the videos. If you are not in a small group, purchase a study guide in the Book Nook or at the front desk for $10. These guides include an access code to the online videos.
