The Student Ministry at Christ Church partners with parents to help teens develop in all aspects of life while preparing for college and careers. Teens are given opportunities to explore their gifts and talents through worship, spiritual growth, service, and leadership while focusing on becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus. ENCOUNTER: a student worship experience.
Sunday mornings from 11:00am to 12:15pm in The Deep End.
Life comes at you pretty fast when you are a student. Keeping up with school, sports, dance, band, church, work, family and friends can be overwhelming! So how can we help students learn to navigate the ever changing terrain called life?
ENCOUNTER is our weekly gathering where students play games, enjoy music, have conversations about real life issues, and connect with each other. Come as you are! This is a safe environment for students to bring their doubts, questions, and concerns so we can process through life’s challenges together. We care deeply for students and are excited to be on this journey with you. We exist to help students learn to love, live, and be more like Jesus everyday. Our desire is that every student we spend time with feels they are known, valued, and loved.

Students explore both the bigger picture of God’s design through the understanding of Biblical traditions as well as the history of The United Methodist Church as they decide to become members of Christ Church.
