Community Care Clothing Collection

Ever wonder what happens to the clothing and shoes you leave in a Community Care bin at church? Incoming donations are sorted weekly by volunteers. A majority of the items are taken to St. Vincent, Corner Cupboard and other local agencies that serve those in need. Some items that are new or in very good condition are held and sold twice a year during the church garage sale and holiday bazaar. Proceeds help fund Community Care’s local outreach and charitable work with groups such as St. Paul UMC, Wesley Center, Victory Project, St. Vincent’s supportive housing in Kettering, and food pantries. Your donations of clothing and shoes are appreciated all year, whenever you declutter your closets!
