Palm Sunday is the day Jesus rides into Jerusalem as the true King—not to take power by force, but to give His life in love. And the crowds shout “Hosanna!” which means, “Save us now!” But the salvation Jesus brings is far bigger than anyone expected. The Nicene Creed ends with a line that captures the fullness of His mission: “We look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.” On Palm Sunday we join the crowds—not only remembering the past, but longing for the future: the return of the King, the resurrection of the dead, and the renewal of all creation.
