2026 Community Partnership Application: Parking Lot Ministry

In recent years, Christ Church has leveraged its proximity to the Fraze Pavilion to support its ministries. During the Fraze Pavilion concert season, the Kettering Campus parking lot is used to raise funds for a designated Christ Church ministry. Volunteering in the parking lot provides a wonderful opportunity to engage with the Kettering community as well as visitors from across the region. Since the ministry’s inception, donations collected have ranged between $5,000 and $12,000 annually.

This year, we are opening up this fundraising opportunity to all current and active ministries housed in the Christ United Methodist Church Building. The ministry selected as the year’s beneficiary will work closely with Christ Church’s Serve Director to identify which concerts will be designated for collections. Only one ministry will receive parking lot funds each year, and consecutive-year awards are not permitted.
Ministries interested in applying should complete the attached application and submit it to Courtney Decker at courtney@christumc.org. Applications will be reviewed by the Serve Leadership Team. Submission deadline for consideration: Monday, April 6th, 2026.
